Including five of Nov. 10 at AAC Semifinals the six players who recieved postseason accolades from the American Athletic Conference. Nov. 13 at AAC Championships Home meets in Cherry • The Owls were picked to finish fifth in the six team American preseason poll. They came in behind USF by just one point. FOLLOW THE OWLS • Seton Hall is coming off an excellent season which saw the Pirates win a tough BIG EAST title and INSTAGRAM @temple_msoc advance to the Elite Eight. • Temple is 1-3 all-time against Seton Hall. For example, AAC Preseason Poll Preseason Awards this means a player who was redshirt freshman last year will remain a redshirt fresh- Team man this season as well. 1. UCF Offensive Player of the Year 2. SMU Alex Meinhard - Tulsa DEPARTING PLAYERS 3. Tulsa Defensive Player of the Year Despite 11 players leaving the roster from last season, only a few contributors of note 4. USF Thomas Hanley - SMU departed the team. Losses are concentrated on the defensive end of the pitch. Cap- 5. Temple tain and consensus AAC Defensive Player of the Year Pierre Cayet headline the losses, 6. Goalkeeper Nikolas Lucas Cline - Tulsa Hartmann also departs for a professional career after starting four matches and being named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll twice last season. RETURNING PRODUCTION The Owls returned the vast majority of the second ranked offense in the American from PROGRAM INFORMATION last year. Of the 17 goals scored last season, 16 return (Cayet is the lone departing ALL-TIME goal-scorer). Sean Karani, Mike Eijgendaal, Amir Cohen, Jalen Campbell, and Nigel Griffith Overall record: 664-434-121 (1926-2021) form the core of what figures to be one of the most exciting offensive attacks in the ISFA/ISFL National Championships: 3 (1941, 1951, 1953) American Athletic Conference, and possibly the country.
