This workshop promises to be packed with a lot of useful information. The morning session will be devoted to the new Fly Now Scholarship. Our Section won five of the first nine scholarships presented in the fall. Below are some preparation tips for the meeting: Fly Now Scholarship Winning a scholarship can significantly reduce the financial burden for 99s who are learning to fly or those working toward an advanced rating. At the Winter Workshop speakers will present key information to understand and successfully apply for the new “Fly Now” AE Scholarship. Whether you are a student pilot or an experienced member looking to support potential future scholarship winners, join us and talk with previous scholarship winners, Fly Now mentors, and other AE Scholarship Chairs to share tips to support Presenting Opal’s trophy to the Ninety-Nines Museum applicants in preparing effective applications and pearls to incorporate the Fly Now scholarship program Back: Carol Andrews (Sutter Buttes), Joanne Nissen (Monterey Bay), Thelma Cull (Sutter Buttes) into your Chapter. Front: Museum Chairman Bonita Ades (Colorado-SCS), Penny Nagy, and Sharon Raney (Sacramento Valley) Chapter Chairman’s Manual The afternoon session will be devoted to revamping the Chapter Chairman’s Manual. The manual has not been updated since 2007 and we would like your input. Please bring your manual(s) just in case we can use Calendar/Activities 2014 any of the information.
