This module introduces you to some of the artists and songs of the 1980s. The 80s showcased long hair, make up, costumes, wailing guitars and falsetto vocals (singing notes really high!). Songs could be classed as rock, hard rock, heavy metal, glam rock, or punk rock. This module will focus on bands from glam rock and hard rock. You’ll hear about artists like: Twisted Sister Bon Jovi Guns N’ Roses Outcomes By the end of this module you will: • Have listened to songs from the 1980s • Sung songs from the 1980s • Described some of the ‘genres’ of music • Be introduced to some of the technical aspects of music and song writing.
