Eskişehir Osmangazi University International Student Admission Placement Principles

ESKİŞEHİR OSMANGAZİ UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSION PLACEMENT PRINCIPLES 1) International student candidates can apply to a maximum of 5 programs and will be placed in only one program. 2) The scores of the candidates who meet the application requirements are listed by converting into a hundred percent system, with the highest 100 (one hundred) being accepted. In order for a candidate to be placed in a program, it is sufficient to get the minimum score in the related tables in the type of score she/he applied for. 3) The number of candidates who are entitled to enroll from the same country cannot exceed 20% of the total quota of the related program. If the quotas are not filled, the candidates are placed in order of success points, regardless of this rule. The provision of article 6 is reserved in daytime (I. öğretim) education. 4) In case of equality in candidates who apply with exam scores in placement to quotas, priority is given to the one with a high high school diploma grade first, and in case of continuing equality, low age is taken into account. In terms of age equality, the preference rank of the candidate is considered. In case of equality of candidates who apply with diploma score, the younger age and order of preference are taken into consideration. 5) With the decision to be taken by the University Senate, restrictions may be imposed according to nationality for the acceptance of foreign students in the specified academic year. 6) In accordance with the principles regarding the acceptance of students from abroad, a quota limitation of 10% is applied for daytime (I. öğretim) education departments for the applications of the candidates who have the opportunity to apply for the student admission quotas from abroad, and those who have a blue card, and among the students with Turkish nationality, those who have completed the last three years of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country except TRNC (including those who have completed their secondary education (high school) in Turkish schools in a foreign country other than TRNC (excluding TRNC) before 01/02/2013 with Turkish nationality, those with dual citizenship one of which is Turkish and those with Syrian and Greek nationality. In the event that the 10% quota is filled in the actual placement, those who are not registered or in the additional placements to be made to the vacant quotas cannot be placed within the scope of this limitation. There is no 10% quota limitation for placements in Evening Education (II. öğretim) Departments. 7) The actual placements are carried out by the placement of students who have a valid score for application according to the International Exam Results (SAT1, ACT, etc.) specified in Table I. In case the vacancies in quotas, placements are made according to the results of the national exams specified in Table 2. For the quotas that remain vacant after this placement process, placements are made by taking into account the superiority of the high school diploma score and high school graduation exam results (Abitur, Matura, GCE AL, etc.) specified in Table 3. 8) New application periods can be opened for empty quotas if deemed necessary at the end of the actual placements. Among the candidates who applied for these periods, placements may be made regardless of the quota limitation in Article 3 by the "International Student Admission Evaluation and Placement Committee" appointed by the University Executive Board with the score type applied for is at least 60 points in the 100-point system according to the minimum score criteria in the relevant tables and / or in the diploma score types that are not included in the tables. 9) Even if the student who has gained the right to registration, has not registered for the program he / she has been placed in, she/ he has no right to re-apply for and choose a department if the vacant quotas are announced within the same academic year. 10) Students who will choose programs that accept students with a special talent exam must take the talent exams held by the Faculty of Art and Design. 11) As a result of the preliminary examination of the online applications, the applications of the candidates who do not meet the application requirements will not be evaluated. 12) Students who do not register on the registration date lose their right to enroll. 13) The applications of the candidates who make false statements or who are found to mislead the administration by any action or transaction are rejected. If these candidates are registered, they will be canceled.
