WINE LIST Our Philosophy As always at Mirihi we aim to bring both unrelenting quality and unique variety for a fair price to the table. We have sought out a unique, award-winning selection of interesting wines from the new and old world’s wine regions, to offer you a list albeit small, but perfectly formed, just like our island. In compiling our wine list, it was of outmost importance for us to offer something suitable for everyone – from deep ruby reds to celebratory champagne, whatever you like, and for whatever occasion. A word of note about our wine prices: Although we strive to ensure the best wine prices for you, import costs, transportation to our tiny island and a Maldivian alcohol tax (of currently 50%) make it a real challenge. We wish that your journey through this unique selection of wines enriches your Mirihi experience! Your Restaurant & Bar Team 6 Organic/biodynamic/sustainable wine Information Available by the glass What is the definition of a good wine? It should start and end with a smile. The second part consists of specialties and rarities – those are wines and wineries that we find deserve a special recognition and are available in a limited allocation only. You will also find some pairing recommendations and small tasting notes to each wine, to help you find a ‘good drop’ that matches your taste.
