The North Texas game will serve as the first non-conference home game for the Tigers in 2005. Special teams play continues to be an asset for the Tigers as RS Skyler Green ranks No. 6 in the nation in punt returns 19 * at Ole Miss TBA (16.8 yards per return), while the Tigers are No. 7 in the nation in net punting with a 39.3 average. 25 * Arkansas (CBS) 1:30 p.m. Jackson Boots LSU Past Auburn, 20-17, in Overtime Chris Jackson's right leg came up big for LSU as the junior kicked a 44-yard field goal with just under two minutes left in reg- ulation to send the contest to overtime and then followed that with a 30-yarder during the extended period to lead the seventh- ranked Tigers past 15th-ranked Auburn, 20-17. Moments after Jackson's field goal in overtime, Auburn missed a chance to North Texas (2-4, 2-1 Sun Belt) send the game into double-overtime when John Vaughn's 39-yard attempted hit the left upright sending LSU to the victory. Jackson's field goal in regulation came just three minutes after Auburn had taken a 17-14 lead on a Brandon Cox-to-Anthony SEPTEMBER Mix TD pass on fourth-and-goal from the LSU 5-yard line. LSU responded with an 8-play, 48-yard drive with the big play in the 10 * at Middle Tennessee W, 14-7 drive coming on a 31-yard pass from JaMarcus Russell to Dwayne Bowe.
