There are only two seniors on the squad and only five players have seen more than one season of action at WSU. Gone are All-Midwestern Collegiate Conference pitcher Sean Sullins, MCC Tournament MVP short­ stop Kris Jarosz, team-leading hitter Matt Piskor, home run leader Tom Beam and the multipurpose outfielder/pitcher Doug Lowe. The Raiders have lost their top three hitters, along with three pitchers who combined for a 20-12 mark. Yet expectations remain high for the defending Midwestern Collegiate Conference champions. "I expect this year's team to take another MCC cham­ pionship," said head coach Ron Nischwitz, who en- ters his 22nd season at the helm of the Wright State Phil Long is one of only two returning seniors on this year 's baseball program.
