Cast: Judy Davis, Bryan Brown, Cathy Downes, Baz Luhrmann, Peter Mochrie. Summary: Melodrama set in contemporary Sydney, Aust. Rob (Brown) and Lou (Davis) meet while investigating the suicide of a former friend, a Sydney prostitute. All three had participated in the antiwar movement of the late 60’s. The film probes the interaction between Rob and Lou, who is also a prostitute, and shows how the protest movement had subsequently affected their lives.
