Singers Mairéad Carlin, Éabha McMahon and Megan Walsh and fiddler Tara McNeill will perform timeless songs of the season accompanied by the full symphony. Combining their crystalline voices – “angels probably do sound like this,” said one reviewer – with the splendor of the orchestra will make for a magical evening. Celtic Woman debuted at a 2004 concert in Dublin, Ireland. A 2005 PBS broadcast of that performance helped push the group’s first CD, “Celtic Woman,” to the top spot on the Billboard World Albums chart for 86 weeks. The Riley Center show will feature favorites from the ensemble’s much-loved holiday releases, including the platinum-selling “A Christmas Celebration” and “Home for Christmas,” plus a few Celtic twists.
