Red Granite Pictures and Krevoy-Stabler Settle “Dumb and Dumber To” Dispute; Drop Lawsuits

PRESS RELEASE RED GRANITE PICTURES AND KREVOY-STABLER SETTLE “DUMB AND DUMBER TO” DISPUTE; DROP LAWSUITS Los Angeles, CA – July 21, 2014 – It was announced today that Red Granite Pictures and Brad Krevoy and Steve Stabler have settled their legal dispute over the much anticipated sequel “Dumb and Dumber To” and dismissed their respective lawsuits against one another. “Dumb and Dumber To” takes place twenty years after the dimwits set out on their first adventure, Lloyd and Harry begin a new journey. Currently scheduled for release later this year by Universal Pictures, “Dumb and Dumber To” reunites stars Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels with directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly. The Farrelly Brothers, along with Sean Anders, John Morris, Mike Cerrone and Bennett Yellin, penned the script for the film. Red Granite Pictures’ Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland produced along with Charlie Wessler, Bradley Thomas and The Farrelly Brothers. Brad Krevoy and Steve Stabler executive produced along with Marc Fischer, David Koplan, Danny Dimbort and Christian Mercuri. Dimbort and Mercuri, co-heads of Red Granite’s foreign sales arm, Red Granite International, handled international sales on the film. Wessler, Krevoy and Stabler produced the original “Dumb and Dumber” and its prequel “Dumb and Dumberer.” Krevoy and Stabler stated, “We apologize for naming Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland as individual defendants rather than just Red Granite.” .
