GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Clifford was born on August 18, 1937 in LeRoy to Joseph and Lillian Helgeson; July 4, 2015 - 1:00 p.m. he was the third of seven children. As a child, Cliff attended Spring Grove LeRoy Public Cemetery LeRoy, Saskatchewan School up to the completion of grade 8, after which he worked on the family BORN: PASSED AWAY: August 18, 1937 December 29, 2014 farm and Klatt’s farm; he then went on road construction. He then worked for LeRoy District, Saskatchewan Humboldt, Saskatchewan the RM of LeRoy from 1965 till 1972. On August 18, 1972 he married Shirley Holman and soon after they had their first child, Dana. Clifford and Shirley AGE: 77 Years then moved to Port Coquitlam, BC where he worked at a sawmill. It was here they had their second child, Denise. Cliff and Shirley then moved back to LeRoy, where Cliff worked for Lewis Construction. Cliff later returned to work for the RM of LeRoy in 1980 and remained there until his retirement in 2005. Cliff was very dedicated to his job as a Grader Operator and took great pride in his work. Cliff also enjoyed working on his 2 quarters of land in his free time and helping out on the farm. After his retirement, Cliff enjoyed drives down to Jansen Lake with Shirley and their dog Buddy. They also enjoyed family trips to North and South Dakota, where they did a lot of sight-seeing. Cliff always Cliff will be lovingly remembered by his son Dana Helgeson of Kaohsiung, took the time to stop and have a chat with friends, family and neighbours. Taiwan, daughter Denise (Todd) Schnell, and granddaughters Kayleigh, Emily and Jaimie of Ituna. Also by his brother Ken (Myrna) Helgeson of LeRoy, brother Gordie Helgeson (Janet) of Calgary, AB, his sisters Bea Harcourt of Quill Lake, Joyce (Edmund) Lachappelle of Medicine Hat, AB, Marge (Mike) Pisio of Sherwood Park, AB, sister-in-law Cecilia Helgeson of Saskatoon, and his aunt Gilma Helgeson of Humboldt and by many nieces and nephews. Cliff was predeceased by his wife Shirley, his parents Joe and Lillian Helgeson, brother Garth Helgeson, brother-in-law Jack Harcourt, niece Shelley Harcourt and nephew Aaron Helgeson.
