For Immediate Release Friday, July 29, 2016 Organization & Staff Assignments Phoenix, Arizona — Arizona Fall League Director Steve Cobb announces organization and staff (managers, pitching coaches, hitting coaches, athletic trainers) assignments for the league’s 25th anniversary season that begins Tuesday, October 11. Facts Regarded throughout professional baseball as the “finishing school” for top prospects •Nearly 2,600 of over 4,300 since its inception in 1992, the six-team league features elite young players from every (60%) Fall Leaguers have organization in Major League Baseball. The league plays three games per day six days reached the major leagues a week (Monday-Saturday) in six Cactus League stadiums.
