This solar power plant has generated electricity from December 2018 with 10.8 MWe full capacity. Solar power plants are safe, economically and politically beneficial, clean, environmental friendly, sustainable development compliant facilities. And also hence they use solar power to generate electricity, they lessen the dependency to the exported energy resources. It is harder to develop solar power projects in Turkey from other countries within the financial, technological and, application aspects. To overcome such difficulties Erzurum Aziziye Solar Power Plant has started to work on carbon trade within the VER “Gold Standard for Global Goals” framework since it is a carbon emission reducing project. With regards to “Erzurum Aziziye Solar Power Plant", we are happy to invite you to the Stakeholders Meeting on behalf of “Galata Wind Enerji A.Ş.". The meeting is held within the scope of Gold Standard procedures for VER projects and aims to explain the project to stakeholders and discuss the impact of the project activity to environment and sustainable development. The meeting schedule is as follows: A Stakeholders Consultation Meeting has been organized to explain the project in detail and discuss the projects impact on environment and sustainable development. The meeting will be held on March 19th, 2019 at 13.30 in Meeting room of Ilıca Termal Otel, Aziziye district of Erzurum province. The meeting is open for anyone who wants to join and will be held in Turkish. The meeting schedule is as follows: - Opening of the meeting - Explanation of the project - Discussion of continuous input /grievance mechanism 6 - Questions for clarification about the project - Blind SD exercise - Discussion on monitoring SD - Closure of the meeting In order to increase the efficiency of the meeting we would like to draw your attention to the non-technical summary of the project activity document enclosed to this email. The non- technical project summary along with other documents also can be accessed from Markit Registry. (www.markit.com) If you will not be able to attend the meeting, please at least share your comments and opinions through filling in the attached form.
