INFRASTRUCTURE Ed Smith BSc MCIOB Director Background Ed established eapm Ltd in 2019 following a period as an Executive Director in residential development and a previous career in Project Management Consultancy where he worked for an International PM Consultancy He is a Senior Construction Industry Professional and responsible for all services and operations for eapm Ltd. Ed spent his early career in Heavy Civil Engineering and Nuclear Projects before moving to consultancy where he spent a significant time involved in the delivery of Project Management services for major projects. Ed has always sought to maintain his breadth of experience and has worked on significant projects across a wide range of sectors and procurement models Experience Madenhill, Newton Mearns Technical Director for the establishment of development platforms and key infrastructure to enable 750 residential units. Acted as client and PM with responsibility to develop contract strategy and key appointments Scrabster Harbour Project Manager for redevelopment and dredging of existing harbour facility to service west of Shetland oil exploration and offshore renewables industry Sighthill TRA (£100m+) Project Director providing strategic advice on the remediation and redevelopment of Sighthill in Glasgow and operating the NEC3 Appointment with the client as well as acting as PM for all NEC3 construction contracts for enabling, infrastructure, realm and development platforms to support over 700 new homes Glasgow City Council, Commonwealth Co-Generation facilities Advisor for the expansion of the Games Village District Heating Energy Centre and procurement of the ESCO company to maintain and operate the facility going forward BAE Bishopton [£120 million] Project Director providing strategic advice, logistics and programme managements services on the redevelopment of former Royal Ordnance Factory for BAE Bishopton. Silverburn Shopping Centre, Glasgow, Ph1 & 2 (£200m) Project Director for Delivery phase of 1m sqft covered Shopping Centre Including delivery of circulation roads, car parks, motorway junction, box overbridge, off site flood compensation areas etc Glasgow Science Centre Acting Director of Buildings charged with delivery of new lifting bridge over the River Clyde Braehead Shopping Centre, Renfrew Project Manager primarily concerned with enabling works for large box retail, remediation of Phase 2 site, highways and marine revetment works Peel Holdings James Watt Dock Marina – Delivery of new Marina facility including pontoons, yacht serves and amenity block East India Harbour refurbishment works and new public realm .
