The table below lists conversion factors used in computing the Asphalt Price Adjustment. Bituminous materials not listed below are eligible for asphalt price adjustment using the conversion factor of a similar listed material with the same pay units. If an appropriate conversion factor is not apparent, the Materials Bureau shall be contacted to provide this information. The conversion factor for asphalt concrete mixed with slag shall be increased by 25%. The conversion factor for truing and leveling is based on the average for top and binder mixes.
