GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF DEFENCE NOTIFICATIONS Rawalpindi, the 5th October, 2020 S.R.O. 971(I)/2020.—WHEREAS the civil population of the Abbottabad Cantonment has exceeded beyond one hundred thousand; NOW, THEREFORE, the Federal Government is pleased to notify for general information that the Abbottabad Cantonment shall be Class-I Cantonment in terms of clause (i) of sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (II of 1924).
