A Symposium on Science-Codes-rendition unified Introduction: Cryptography or cryptology (from Ancient Greek: kryptós "hidden and graphein, "to write ). Cryptography is about constructing and analyzing ” protocols that prevent third parties or the public from reading private ” messages; various aspects in information security such as data confidentiality, data integrity, authentication, and non-repudiation are central to modern cryptography. Modern cryptography exists at the intersection of the disciplines of Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communication Science and Physics. Applications of cryptography include electronic commerce, chip-based payment cards, digital currencies, computer passwords, and military communications. In this age we need to mix and match the knowledge of Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Cryptology and Computer Science to safe guard the data (information) we generate. A workshop can introduce a new concept, spurring participants to investigate it further on their own, or can demonstrate and encourage the practice of actual methods. Specially, for people who work together, a workshop can help to create a sense of community or common purpose among its participants. Not only we have organized seminars in our college but also went to Jadavpur University, Kolkata to make the students aware of digital applications. Prof. Basab Chaudhury, Vice Chancellor, WBSU, Barasat , Dr.(Mrs.) Sukla Hazra, Principal of our college, Prof. Bimal Roy, Head, R. C. Bose Centre for Cryptology and Security, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata were kind enough to be present during the workshop to encourage the students and the faculties.
