SSD+HDD Configuration Recovery Notes If your unit came with an internal Solid State Drive (SSD) where the operating system has been pre- installed and an internal Hard Disk Drive (HDD) for data storage, please follow the below procedures when performing operating system recovery. Disable HDD Before Recovery 1. Power on or reboot the system. When the Fujitsu logo appears, press the F2 key to enter BIOS Setup. Then set it to Disabled with the Enter key. System Drive Configurations Drive0: [TOSHIBA THNSNH256G8NT - 256 GB] [Enabled] Drive1: [HGST HTS725050A7E630 - 500 GB] [Disabled] (*Actual screen display varies between models.) 4. Press the Esc key to return to the main menu. 5. Use the Arrow keys to navigate to the Exit menu. Select Save Changes and Power Off. Info System Advanced Security Boot Exit Exit Saving Changes Exit Discarding Changes Load Setup Defaults Discard Changes Save Changes Save Changes and Power Off (*Actual screen display varies between models.) 6. Proceed with operating system recovery as usual (refer to the respective “Image Backup and Recovery Guide” available on the Fujitsu Support Site). Re-Enable HDD After Recovery 1.
