Lieutenant Colonel Weyand has previously been selected to coach the 2013 and 2017 U.S. Armed Forces Men’s Soccer team and has coached the U.S. All-Air Force Men’s Soccer Team from 2011- 2016. In his full time active duty role, Lieutenant Colonel Weyand assumed the duties of Director, Afghanistan Focus Group, Allied Joint Force Command Headquarters, Brunnsum, the Netherlands in January 2017.
