EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT NATIONAL NDRRMC • NDRRMC OpCen disseminated NDRRMC Advisories on Severe Weather Bulletins , Flood Bulletins for River Basin and Allied Rivers, and General Flood Advisories on TS “KABAYAN”; and Gale Warnings, to all Chairpersons RDRRMC, PDRRMC, and OCD Regional Centers through SMS and facsimile, and uploaded the same at the NDRRMC website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts for further dissemination to their respective local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs) from the provincial down to the municipal levels • Directed RDRRMCs concerned through the OCD Regional Centers to undertake precautionary measures in their respective areas of responsibility (AOR) and subsequently advised local DRRMCs to initiate pre-emptive evacuation of families in low-lying and mountainous areas if situation warrants REGIONAL INITIATIVES Region III • RDRRMC/OCDRC III disseminated domestic weather bulletins / alerts / warnings / advisories to concerned RDRRMC III Member-Agencies, local DRRMCs, and broadcast media for widest dissemination; coordinated with PDRRMCs of Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bataan, Zambales, Pampanga, and Bulacan to activate their respective operations center; Flood Forecasting and Warning System for Dam Operations (PAGASA Pampanga) for any dam discharge; and alerted PRO III Regional Public Safety for rescue assets ready for deployment; AFP Provincial Disaster Response Unit, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority and Olongapo City Rescue Team to pre-position personnel and rescue equipment in the flood-prone areas • PDRRMC Bulacan requested the assistance of Bulacan PPO to inform the PNP station in Central Luzon and Metro Manila of the said incidents and requested for the assistance of the 18 th Special Forces of the Philippine Army 4.
