Use Xbox 360 Controller Drivers Windows 10

use xbox 360 controller drivers windows 10 download Rock Candy Xbox 360 controller no longer recognized by windows 10? I used a Rock Candy wired Xbox 360 controller without issues for years in windows 7, by using the microsoft xbox accessories drivers from xbox.com. After installing windows 10, however the controller, is no longer recognized in any way. This includes a clean install of windows 10 (the xbox site claims xbox drivers are now built in), as well as after installing windows 7 xbox controller drivers from xbox.com. I tried using the device manager to manually select a driver, however the xbox controller drivers are not listed there, even after using the windows 7 installer. Subscribe Subscribe to RSS feed. Well if you had actually read my post instead of acting like a bot that detected the keyword "xbox" and then spit out a generic "this isn't our problem" reply, you would have realized that my problem actually has almost nothing to do with an xbox (I don't even own one. ) and a lot to do with windows drivers and the device manager? You even linked to the directions that I mentioned in my original post, which I said I followed, but they didn't work. It seems like every time a "microsoft engineer" replies to one of my posts on here it's complete none sense. <.< But ok. I'll assume you actually meant to say something like "the xbox accessory drivers are maintained by a different department, please post your question on the xbox forums". See that? It was short/quick but it was a lot more relevance to my problem instead just of being a vague generic reply that makes it sound like I don't know the difference between a windows PC and an xbox. If nothing else I'll post over there too in case they are capable of more than generic replies that link me to pages I say I have already read. PS You should update your bot. It is still linking to a page dedicated to the Technical Preview. Windows 10 has been released for a while now. I know this might be a shock to some of you at MS, with how great my tech support was after I payed for a full edition. :\ Afterglow ax.1 xbox 360 controller for PC. You may even try the program called JoyToKey. I have Vista (still working on upgrading to XP) and use mine as a mouse, as well as using it for PC games (I'm a console gamer at heart and hate keyboard-and-mouse). It takes a good bit of playing around, but it is EXTREMELY customizable, and quite easy once you get the hang of it.
