Students have successfully completed 314 courses on Coursera, the world’s largest MOOC platform. Students acquired job-relevant skills in various domains like Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Android App Development, Python Programming. Students spent an estimated 3776 hours for completing the courses, solving graded assignments, quizzes and guided projects on the Coursera MOOC platform. Principal, Dr. M.A. Venkatesh, informed that the professional certificates from the world’s top Universities and leading industry educators like Google and IBM will certainly help students become job-ready with in- demand skills. Additionally, the institute has already setup NVIDIA GPU Teaching Centre, Microsoft Student Partner Program, IBM Academic Initiative and NPTEL Local Centre. While conventional on-campus education was interrupted during the Coronavirus pandemic, the institute kept the students engaged in academics by effectively using online platforms and ICT tools. In spite of the challenging situation, the institute has made enormous efforts to continue learning process by conducting online classes for the current semester of the academic year. Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, the institute has always worked for imparting excellence driven engineering education that builds the future of the budding Engineers and Entrepreneurs. The institute has maintained an excellent track record of placements for its students with total 577 placements for 2018-19 and 413+ placements till date for 2019-20.
