TS EnvironmentTM for Windows Windows XP/Windows Vista/ Windows Server 2008/Windows 7/Windows 8/ Windows Server 2012 Quick Start NOTE: All Thoroughbred Windows based products prior to Version 8.7.0 must first be uninstalled and then the 8.8.0 release installed. If you are upgrading a pre 8.7.0 release, BEFORE continuing with this installation, please see the TS Environment for Windows Installation Guide for complete instructions to properly prepare your system for 8.8.0. Installation Use these instructions to load TS Environment for Windows on your Windows XP/Windows Vista/ Windows Server 2008/Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows Server 2012. 1. Before continuing, review the updated installation instructions provided in the installation manual. 2. Logon as Administrator. Administrator privileges are required for the installation process. Once installed the product can be run using a standard user account. 3. Place TS Environment for Windows 8.8.0 CD in CD drive. Note: If Auto run is not configured, from the Run window type the name of the CD drive (i.e. D:) and select the OK button. Select setup.exe. 4. Follow the TS Environment for Windows Installation Wizard. 5. When the installation is finished, remove TS Environment for Windows CD. 6. Restart the system (from the Start button, select Shutdown and then select Restart). Merge the Files 1. Log back on as Administrator. 2. From the Start menu select All Programs-->Thoroughbred Software-->TS Environment for Windows. 3. When the Activation screen appears, activate Basic. 4. Merge the OPENworkshop modules.
