THE FUNG BROTHERS "Goodwill Ambassadors for 626" The Fung Brothers (David & Andrew) grew up in Seattle, WA and always had a huge passion for comedy, hip-hop, and food. They would constantly host talent shows, participate in rap battles, and have in-depth talks about food, but never at the same time. Realizing each of those worlds existed completely exclusive of the others, it became the dream of the brothers to find a blend of all three. After graduating from college, the brothers decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in stand-up comedy as a duo. After making a few funny rap songs about food and putting the music videos on YouTube, people started to take notice – viewers across the world appreciated the subtle blend of the equal parts: rapper, comedian, and foodie. Since then, Fung Brothers have been featured on Travel Channel’s All You Can Meat, Cooking Channel’s Easy Chinese and various news stations both globally and locally. They have their own popular YouTube channel and their work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Huffington Post, LA Weekly, NPR and Angry Asian Man. All of that led to the creation of a web-series titled The Fung Brothers Mess with Texas and a pilot with Coco-Cola both of which are found on the Hungry Youtube Channel. Currently, the Fung Brothers are self-producing YouTube videos, performing stand-up comedy at colleges across the nation and making an impact in the community.
