Infatti abbiamo avuto1e.Prime .Comunione e· le Cresime, ·Chiesa piena di ge·nitori·, pa;o renti ed amici; preghiere e canti comune che ci hanno unito nel cammino verso Dio, in quel Dio in cui tutti ci ritroveremo. Dopo le cerimonie religiose, la festa ci ha riunito, facendoci ritrovare tutti insie­ me in un momento di serenita e di scambio di vita e di esperienza. Un altro grande avvenimento e stato quello delle Olimpiadi, i giochi sportivi organizzati dalla Comu­ nita Italiana per i nostri giovani e creati qualche anno fa dal St. Peter's Youth Club. Eravamo meno eleganti in quei giorni, ma avevamo 10 stesso spirito di entu­ siasmo e commozione. Ognuno guardava il proprio ragazzo, it nostro cuore ha fatto tutti gli sport in quei giovani. Ripeto ancora, e stato un mese dedicato ai nostri giovani in modo particolare, un mese cioe in cui abbiamo pregato la Madonna per i nostri giovani. ci siamo accorti che ci sono prepotentemente dentro il cuore. Adesso il mese di maggio e finito; noi pero ci siamo ancora e i nostri giovani ci sono ancora fine a quando Dio vorra. Che ci stiamo a fare tutti insieme, in casa, in famiglia? ci stiamo per volerci bene, per scam­ biarci affetto. Non c'e bisogno di caric~rci di regali, 0 di soldi, 0 di vestiti nuovi e alIa moda. e'e solo bisogno di parlarsi reciprocamente della vita di ogni giorno, della vita che e fatta del lavoro e delle cose intorno a noi e di quell'altra vita che e ogni giorno e ogni momento nel nostro cuore. Quella e la vera vita che non • ha falsita; quella e la vera vita che noi viviamo ogni giorno con i suoi lati di pec­ cato e di bonta. Questa vita deve avere un significato e il significato ce 10 puo dare soltanto Dio, perche soltanto Dio ci puo fare capire che la famiglia e la via principale verso il Cielo. Una via fatta di gioie e di dolori, un via in cui ognuno porta la propria croce, incoraggiati dall'affetto degli altri familiari, aiutati dalla benedizione e dalla preghiera di coloro che sono gia arrivati nella casa del Padre.
