Good Tuesday Morning That Feeling of PEACE ON EARTH and GOOD WILL TO MEN Luke 2:14 I don’t know about you but it was beginning to feel like the awaking from the long pandemic time was at hand. LIGHT appeared at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps for many PRAYERS were said and perhaps were answered. Society could begin to have FAITH in moving back into life. Ah, HOPE was on the horizon. In this time we saw great works and expressions of CHARITY. THESE ARE THE “Theological Virtues” As we traveled through this time of a worldwide impact on our lifestyle, emotions, and find the ability to reason through what is before us. Were we able to find, experience and practice: PRUDENCE, TEMPERANCE, COURAGE and JUSTICE? THESE ARE THE “Four Cardinal Virtues” The placing of the three Theological Virtues and the four Cardinal Virtues together: THESE ARE THE “Seven Christian or Heavenly Virtues” According to Christian theology, the Seven Heavenly Virtues are the stepping stones to the glorification of the soul. By definition: 1. Faith is belief in the right things (including the virtues!). 2. Hope is taking a positive future view that good will prevail. 3. Charity is concern for, and active helping of, others. 4. Courage (Fortitude) is never giving up. 5. Justice is being fair and equitable with others. 6. Prudence is care of and moderation with money. 7. Temperance is moderation of needed things and abstinence from things which are not needed. We seem to have moved into another time of trouble. Prayers continue to be needed for our world as we process through today’s struggle. I am keeping each of you in my prayers and wishing you the experience of living the Heavenly Virtues and receiving the practice of the virtues from others. Peace and His abundant Grace to you, Tory .
