Raley, Lou 1930-2007 Funeral for Lou Raley, 77, of Bridgeport will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeport with the Rev. Lucia Kremzar officiating. Burial will be at Chico Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home. Raley died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at her home. Born March 14, 1930, in Bellevue to Robert W. and Mary Vaughn Kinsey, she married Vernon Raley on July 3, 1948, in Borger. They were married 47 years until his death May 4, 1996. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeport. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Pete and Mike Kinsey. She is survived by her sons, Tommy Raley and his wife, Elaine, of Chico and Tim Raley and his wife, Sherry, of Crafton; grandchildren, Jereme Raley and his wife, Glory, of Temple and Tyler and Taylor Raley of Crafton; sister, Josephine Smith and her husband, Richard, of Monahans; brothers, Doug Kinsey and his wife, Margaret, of Tyler and Ronny Kinsey and his wife, Charolette, of Buffalo Springs; numerous nieces and nephews. Born March 26, 1926, in Decatur to Roy N. and Lottie Mae Potts Robertson, she married Leslie W. Raley Feb. 12, 1963, in Bridgeport. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeport. She was a past matron of the Decatur Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Leslie W. Raley, and special cousin, Taylor Fullingim. Pallbearers will be Tom Raley, Tim Raley, Jim Nivens, Dustin Dobyn, Jimmy Meyers and Robbie Handlon. Born Jan. 12, 1924, in Ardmore, Okla., to Harry and Lillie (Early) Ratliff, he graduated from Boyd High School in 1941. He married Theda Ruth Madewell on Sept. 26, 1942, in Boyd. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He worked for Swift and Company for 24 years and retired as a photographer from Meisel Inc. in Dallas. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Boyd Yellowjackets. He was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton Ratliff; and three sisters, Ivy Zucarro, Ruth Baker and Jewell Hardy. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Joyce Ann Ratliff of Denver, Colo.; two sons, Robert Ratliff and wife, Jean, of Benbrook and Larry Ratliff and wife, Joan, of Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren, Becky Ogilvie and husband, Chris, Tracy Schroeder, Kyle Ratliff and wife, Jennifer, Andrew, Amy and Daniel Ratliff; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mills on June 23, 1973, in Washington, D.C. He was an accounting technician for DFAS at Griffis Air Force Base. He was the business development director for Lawton Housing Authority from 1995 to 2006. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Stephanie N. The Revs. Craig Erb and Doug Vaughn were to officiate. Burial was to follow at Sanger Cemetery. Rector died Thursday, June 7, 2007, in Fort Worth. Born May 19, 1926, in Sanger to Sam and Ruth Rector, he graduated from Sanger High School in 1944. He received his bachelor of science in agricultural education from Texas A&M University in 1948 and his masters degree from North Texas State University. He also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Rector taught in Millsap and Krum before teaching 23 years in Decatur. He also pastored Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and Bell Baptist Church in Decatur for 32 years. He was a past master of masonic lodges in Millsap and Decatur. He was a member of the Texas State Teachers Association, the Wise County Retired Teachers Association and the Texas A&M Association of Former Students Country Club. He was also an honorary member of the Texas Future Farmers of America and Texas Vocational Teachers Association. Rector served as dairy superintendent for 32 years at the Wise County Youth Fair. He married Bobbie Lee Lewter June 26, 1955. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Dean Rector. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Dale Rector and wife, Mary Lynn, of Crowley and Mark Rector and wife, Susan, of Decatur; two daughters, Lee Ann Arrington and husband, Mitch, of Bridgeport and Rhonda Enis and husband, Curtis, of Alvord; nine grandchildren, Lacie, Ryan, Taylor and Haley Rector, Lindsey, Emily and Blake Arrington and Whitney and Logan Enis; two brothers, Jack Rector of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Bob Rector of Frisco; and a sister, Pat Blalock of Duncanville. Pallbearers were to be Byron Blalock, Johnny Blalock, Rex Rector, Brent Williams, Ron Mosley and Joel Gann.
