The Coronavirus pandemic has halted all sport – not just rugby – and threatened lives and livelihoods across the world. We have three new members of our coaching team this season with Jonathan Thomas, a former Warriors captain, returning to Sixways as Forwards Coach and Mark Irish joining us as Scrum Coach, both from Bristol Bears. Matt Sherratt, who worked for Warriors early in his coaching career and who is a former Wales Backs Coach, is also returning as our new Backs and Attack Coach from Ospreys. I am delighted that JT, Mark and Matt will be joining us and they are excited by the prospect of working with Omar Mouneimne, a world-class Defence Coach, and Johan Pretorius, our top-class Head of Performance, who have both signed contract extensions. Before rugby went into lockdown your support at Sixways, at grounds around the country and in Europe, was greatly appreciated by the players and coaching staff. The sight of a sell-out crowd at Sixways and a sea of blue and gold flags for our Christmas fixture against London Irish was one of the highlights of the season and we hope to share many more memorable moments.
