Quincy, MA (3/5/20) - Quincy College Director of Student Life Amanda (Deck) Senyonjo has been named Campus Event Planner of the Year for 2020, netting Quincy College top honors out of 4,200 campuses nationwide who were competing for this year's Power Performers title. The Annual Campus Event Planner Awards are hosted by Power Performers Inc. of New Hartford, New York. Senyonjo, who has been with Quincy College since 2016 was recognized for her novelty events -- a campus wide Welcome Back Party held every semester and a Casino Royale event, transforming Quincy College's student lounge into a destination event from the commuter campuses in Quincy and Plymouth. Reflecting on this award, Senyonjo stated: “I am very humble and grateful to be recognized with this prestigious award. The Office of Student Life puts on many events and programs that are successful, but over the years our novelty events have been the most memorable and engaging for our student body at Quincy College.” Kristin Topalli, a General Studies major at Quincy College reflects on the caliber of student life programming at Quincy College: “QC Student Life plays an integral role in a student's development outside of the classroom. There are many events and programs around campus that I have been able to participate in and I have loved my experience.
