This project is being bid to provide crack sealing, crack repair, bituminous surface treatment, and pavement marking for runway 10-28 and taxiway B (east end) at Mason Jewett Field. Electronic documents are available at no cost, hard copies are available for purchase from the consultant for $50. A Pre-bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 am local time on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at the Mason Jewett Field Terminal Building, 655 Aviation Dr., Mason, Michigan 48854. A representative from the consultant will meet with prospective bidders to discuss the project. The project will be funded with State of Michigan and Federal Aviation Administration funds. Therefore, the contractor will be required to meet Davis-Bacon wage rates. No DBE participation is required. A cashier’s check, certified check or bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required with each proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the bonds and insurance as specified in the proposal. Proposals shall remain firm and shall not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days after bid opening. The Capital Region Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids. .
