NOTICE OF TENDER Tenders are invited from UPKJ Registered Contractors under Class E, Head II and registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) for the “PROPOSED RENOVATION WORKS TO THE EXISTING SHOPLOT FOR NEW PIBU SARATOK OFFICE AT 1ST AND 2ND FLOOR, SUB-LOT 1, LOTS 244 & 652 SARATOK TOWN DISTRICT, SARATOK DISTRICT, BETONG DIVISION, SARAWAK” Tender No. PPES: T/01/2017 Tender Documents can be obtained from the office of: - General Manager SEDC Sarawak c/o Legal Affairs Division 8th Floor, Menara SEDC Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman 93100 KUCHING, SARAWAK during normal office hours from 17th January 2017 – 20th January 2017 upon:- a) Production of proof of original registration with UPKJ and CIDB as stated above; and b) Payment in cash or bank draft “ A/C Payee Only “ of RM 318.00 made payable to SEDC Sarawak for :- (i) non-refundable and deemed reasonable tender document fee in form of cash or bank draft “A/C Payee Only” for RM 53.00 (inclusive of 6% GST) made payable to SEDC Sarawak and; (ii) refundable and deemed reasonable tender deposit in form of cash or bank draft “A/C Payee Only” for RM 265.00 made payable to SEDC Sarawak. In the case of those whose tenders are not accepted, this deposit will be refunded within the ninety day (90) days Tender Validity Period or any agreed extension thereof subject to the return of all the Tender Drawings. In the case of the successful tenderer, the tender document deposit shall be retained in full for document charges. This tender document will be issued in softcopy. Therefore, tenderer is required to bring their pen drive during the collection of tender document. Tender must be submitted in a sealed plain envelope clearly marked at its left-hand top corner “PROPOSED RENOVATION WORKS TO THE EXISTING SHOPLOT FOR NEW PIBU SARATOK OFFICE AT 1ST AND 2ND FLOOR, SUB-LOT 1, LOTS 244, 652 SARATOK TOWN DISTRICT, SARATOK DISTRICT, BETONG DIVISION, SARAWAK”, Tender No. PPES: T/01/2017 addressed and submitted to: - General Manager SEDC Sarawak c/o Legal Affairs Division 8th Floor, Menara SEDC Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman 93100 KUCHING, SARAWAK by 12.00 noon on 6th February 2017 (Monday) together with all accompanying documents, including the Form of Tender and Declaration of Bona Fide Competitive Tender/Quotation duly signed. Late and/or incomplete submissions will be rejected outright. Tenderer shall attend the briefing which is Compulsory. The briefing is held on 20 January 2016 (Friday) 3.00pm at Dewan Kenyalang, Level 7, Menara SEDC, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, 93100 KUCHING, SARAWAK. SEDC Sarawak does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender or to assign any reason thereof.
