This gives the writer KIM (me) and the artists room to stretch out and develop the fables a little more fully, adding an extended bit of physical comedy or a plot twist not found in the original. (Longer stories also means fewer stories, so I’m not using up the AESOP'S FABLES #2, Fall, FABLES is published by fables quite so fast — and I don’t have as many people to bug about deadlines!) Books, Inc., < characters, stories, and art © The Comic Book Aesop Don Thompson, editor of the Comics Buyer’s Guide, was kind enough to print my open letter to his readers requesting any information they might have about Trosley and Werner Wej other comic book adaptations of Aesop’s Fables. In the letter I mentioned E.C.’s Animal Fables of the late 1940s, which ran a few Aesop’s Fables. Don remembers Books or Charles Santino. No a fable parody in Milt Gross Funnies and a few fable take-offs in DC’s The Fox and the Crow. And a comic book dealer in Canada tells me the old Classics FABLES and those of any living persons is intended, and any such sii Illustrated Junior line ran many Aesop’s Fables as back-up stories, but never as a separate title.
