Upcoming service changes Effective Sunday Aug. 7, SamTrans will adjust seven of its routes to improve efficiency and pro- vide more reliable service for customers. SamTrans also will adjust routes that operate only on school days. New timetables soon will be available on SamTrans buses and at schedule outlets, as well as at www.samtrans.com/upcomingchanges. School-day only service School is back in session and SamTrans will oper- ate school-day only service on the following routes: 11, 14, 16, 19, 25, 29, 35, 37, 39, 43, 46, 49, 53, 55, 57, 58, 59, 62, 67, 68, 72, 72, 79, 80, 83, 82, 83, 84, 87, 88, 89, 110, 112, 140, 141, 250, 251, 256, 260 and 275. Consult new timetables available at www.samtrans.com/schools or call 1-800-660-4287 (TTY 650-508-6448). Four new school-day only routes 18, 56, 61 and 81 will be introduced on Aug. 8. SamTrans will adjust or introduce service on the routes below: School-day only trips will be eliminated 17 and reassigned to new Route 18. New route will provide service similar to Route 17, including school-day only service to Half Moon Bay High School 18 and Cunha Middle School. Strawflower Village Shopping Center will not be served. The eastbound 1:30 p.m. trip will depart 25 Ben Franklin School at 2 p.m. The eastbound 7:32 a.m. trip will depart 29 15 minutes later, arriving at Lipman School at 8:15 a.m. New route will provide school service to Aragon High School and serve 56 San Mateo Highlands and Crystal Springs neighborhoods. New route will provide school service to Carlmont High School, Tierra Linda 61 Middle School and the San Carlos Learning Center. New route will provide school service 81 to Menlo-Atherton High School and several East Palo Alto neighborhoods. The bus will depart Bay/Harmon seven 82 minutes later than current schedule, arriving at Hillview School at 8:14 a.m. Westbound, the bus will depart Bay/ Harmon 10 minutes later than current 88 schedule, arriving at Encinal School at 8 a.m. Eastbound school-day only trip will depart Alameda/Hull at 3:20 p.m., five minutes earlier than current schedule. 275 One eastbound regular trip will depart Alameda/Woodside at 3:25 p.m., five minutes later than current schedule. Route will now serve West Bayshore and Woodland. Bus stop along Camellia Dr. and Wisteria Dr. will be eliminated. New bus stops will be added along 280 Pulgas Ave. Saturday service will be adjusted by up to six minutes later. Sunday service will be adjusted by up to four minutes earlier.
