280 About the Contributors Raghu Santanam is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Director of the MSIM Program in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. His current research focuses on consumer related issues in pricing of digital products, Health Information Technology, Business Process Change, and Cloud Computing. Dr. Santanam has helped a number of organizations on Information Systems and Business Process related changes. He serves as an Associate Editor for Information Systems Research, Decision Support Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems and Journal of Electronic Commerce Research. He is an advisory editor of the Elsevier series on “Handbooks in Information Systems.” He recently served as the Program Co-Chair for Workshop on E-Business, 2009. He facilitated the solutions and implementation work group proceedings in Arizona as part of the National Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration project. Most recently, Dr. Santanam served as a co-PI on a research study entitled “Electronic Medical Records and Nurse Staffing: Best Practices and Performance Impacts.” This study examined the impact of EMR systems on hospital performance in California State. M. Sethumadhavan received his PhD (Number Theory) from Calicut Regional Engineering College (presently a National Institute of Technology). He is a Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore and is currently the Head, TIFAC CORE in Cyber Security. His area of interest is cryptography Mohit Virendra received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2008. He currently works in the Software Design and Development team at Brocade Communications Systems in San Jose, CA. His research interests are Computer and Network Security, Wireless Networking and Storage Networks. * * * Manish Agrawal is an Associate Professor in the department of Information Systems and Decision Sciences of the College of Business Administration at the University of South Florida. His current research interests include Information security, Software quality and the development of application-specific Agent-based systems. He completed his Ph.D. at SUNY Buffalo and is a member of AIS and INFORMS. P. Achuthan is Distinguished Professor in the Department of Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham. Warren Axelrod, Ph.D., is a senior consultant with Delta Risk, a consultancy specializing in cyber defense, resiliency and risk management. Previously, he was the chief privacy officer and business information security officer for US Trust, the private wealth management division of Bank of America. He was a co-founder of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center. Dr. Axelrod won the 2009 Michael Cangemi Best Book/Best Article Award for his article “Accounting for Value and Uncertainty in Security Metrics,” published in the ISACA Journal, Volume 6, 2008. He was hon- ored with the prestigious Information Security Executive (ISE) Luminary Leadership Award in 2007. He received a Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders Award in 2003.Dr. Axelrod has written three books, two on computer management, and numerous articles on information technology and informa- tion security topics. His third book is Outsourcing Information Security, published in 2004 by Artech House. His article “Investing in Software Resiliency” appeared in the September/October 2009 issue of CrossTalk magazine.He holds a Ph.D. in managerial economics from Cornell University, as well as an honors M.A. in economics and statistics and a first-class honors B.Sc. in electrical engineering, both from the University of Glasgow. He is certified as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and Certified Information Security Manager. Anup Kumar Bhattacharjee is a scientist in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. He obtained his Ph.D in Computer Science from BITS (TIFR). His main interests are in Application of Formal Methods in the Design of Safety-Critical Systems. Rajarshi Chakraborty is a third-year doctoral student of management science and systems in the School of Management at the University at Buffalo. His research interests include Internet privacy, cloud computing, digital forensics, intellectual property rights, and emergency response management. He has published widely in refereed conferences, journals, and edited volumes. he has given a number of invited talks in his areas of interest. He is Program Chair for RASDAT workshop which is conducted in conjunction with VLSI Design Conference in India. He is reviewer and TPC member of a number of conferences. Kenneth Giuliani received his Ph.D. in cryptography at the University of Waterloo and has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto. He has worked in industry for IBM, Motorola, Ministry of National Defence (Canada), Certicom, and Prata Technologies. Sukumar Haldar is currently serving as a Senior Program Manager with One Call Medical Inc. He received his Masters degree in Science from Kumaoun University in India and a DBMS from Harvard University. He has also provided consultancy services in the area of Enterprise & Credit risk manage- ment to the leading financial firms in US, Far East, Europe and South-Asian markets. He is an active member of GARP, ISACA and served as an Honorary Chairman of the Business Advisory Council for National Congressional Committee. Harvey S. Hyman received his law degree from University of Miami in 1993. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, United States Appeals Court in Atlanta Georgia, and The United States Supreme Court. He is currently a PhD student at University of South Florida, College of Business, and Director of Software Development at a small research firm in Tampa, Florida. Lakshmy K. V. is a Junior Research Fellow at TIFAC CORE in Cyber Security, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore. She received M Sc degree in Mathematics from Govt. Victoria College in 2007. She is pursuing PhD in Cryptography. Ishupal S. Kang is an undergraduate law student studying in fourth year of BA LLB (Hons.) course at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law. His primary research interests are in International Eco- nomic Law with focus on developing nations’ concerns in the multilateral trading regime, Intellectual Property Laws, especially Copyright and Trademark Laws and Cyberspace laws. He has won several prizes in various competitions like National Level Moot Courts, International Essay Competitions etc. He has attended and presented papers at national and international conferences and also has international publications to his credit. Narayanankutty Karuppath is a faculty at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University where he is at present teaching Modern Physics and Astrophysics. He took his M.Sc in physics from Sardar Patel University and PhD from Amrita University. His research interests include quantum phenomena, its applications (including quantum cryptography and computation) and implications, the enigma of time in physics, Cosmology and scientific philosophy. He has published several papers in his area of interest. He has more than 3 decades of research, teaching and industrial experience.
