Gaming Hours: Gaming Info Table Hours: First game begins Friday at 4pm Friday 3pm to 8:45pm Last game ends Sunday at 4pm Saturday 9am to 9pm Sunday 9am to 1pm Gaming Volunteer Signoff Hours: Saturday 8:30am - 9am Saturday 9pm - 9:15pm Sunday 8:30am - 9am Sunday 1pm - 1:15pm Welcome to Necronomicon 2014! • BADGES MUST be worn and VISIBLE at all times! • No alcoholic beverages in gaming area. • No food in gaming area (hotel rule) • No smoking in any convention area. • NO SELLING in the gaming area. • No loud or disruptive behavior outside of the context of your game. • All convention members may reserve open tables on a first come first serve basis, subject to con rules (visit Gaming Info to sign up) • Do NOT swap table numbers in gaming room without prior approval from gaming staff. • All games & demos MUST start and end on time. • The GM is the final judge in the awarding of any prizes, if applicable (prizes provided by GM in these cases) • Attend the Survivor’s Raffle Sunday at 4pm for your chance to win prizes Sign up sheets will be available 1 hour prior to start time (exceptions are games starting after 10pm and before 10am) You may only sign YOUR OWN NAME on the sign up sheets. If you sign up for a game, please report to the table on time. If you are not there at the start time your place will be awarded to the first alternate on the list. If you miss the sign up period (or are an alternate) you can still show up at the start time & if the game isn’t full the GM will allow you to play. (Alternates first, then first come first serve) About Necronomicon and Stone Hill Necronomicon was started by a group of fans looking for a way to put on a great convention. Thus was formed the Stone Hill Science Fiction Association. Stone Hill is a Not for Profit group. These conventions are run for the enjoyment the staff and volunteers feel upon successfully pulling off yet another 3 day weekend. The Stone Hill Science Fiction Association is a Tampa area club. Founded in 1979, it’s a gathering of people that share interests in science fiction, fantasy & horror. These interests range from movies, TV, comics, gaming, computers and everything in between. 2 Your Gaming Department Dean Dryer - Overlord & Director of Unicorn Division Long feared and equally revered as a head of Gaming at Necro, Dean can often be found debunking psychics or saving orphans. In between such heroic efforts, he spends his time plotting world domination as a planetary potentate. Dean’s bucket list include: 1. Drive a jet-ski out of a plane mid-flight, punch a shark in the face during the free fall, and then participate in the first round of skydiving beer pong 2. Text “I hid the body” to a random number and 3. Finally understand women. Dean’s phobias include: 1. Anatidaephobia -fear that somewhere in the world, there is a duck watching you 2. Syngenesophobia - fear of relatives 3. Pogonophobia – fear of beards. In his spare time, Dean likes to swim with polar bears. Heather Dryer - Chief Visionary Officer & Director of Awesome As a head of Gaming at Necro, Heather can be counted on to enforce the rules without too much bloodshed (well, except for that one time). Outside of the con, Heather is often called upon to mediate wars and dispense justice when she isn’t stopping Dean’s efforts at world domination. Heather’s bucket list include: 1. Hire two private investigators and get them to follow each other. 2. Solve a Rubik’s Cube in the dark. 3. Compete in the Iditarod sled race in Alaska with a team of Pekingese. Heather’s phobias include: 1. Phobophobia - fear of fear itself or of having a phobia. 2. Politicophobia- Fear or abnormal dislike of politicians. 3. Pentheraphobia- Fear of mother-in-law. In her spare time, Heather likes to make balloon animals while Irish Step Dancing. Rob Ritchie - Chief Wizard of Web & Experienced Bra Fitter The long time wizard responsible for our gaming website, Rob is a man of many talents, most of which we can’t talk about here. Rob’s bucket list include: 1. Find inner peace 2. Knock over a bunch of motorcycles at a Biker Bar 3. Participate in the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain. Rob’s phobias include: 1. Taurophobia- Fear of bulls 2. Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia- Fear of long words. 3. Scelerophobia – fear of bad men In his spare time, Rob likes to yodel in public places. mArNiAc - Chief Instigation Officer, Mystery Date & Cover Artist Nobody really knows much about mArNiAc, but whenever there is trouble you can guarantee she’s been in the vicinity. It’s probably best not to draw attention to yourself where she is concerned. Marni’s bucket list include: 1. Compose an opera about the Loch Ness Monster 2. Become one with the universe 3. Develop and market the Butt Mouse. Marni’s phobias include: 1. Pteronophobia- Fear of being tickled by feathers. 2. Nomophobia – fear of being out of mobile phone contact 3.
