Adding Accessibility Tools with Moodle’s User Preferences Alex Walker University of Glasgow Accessibility Block Accessibility Block • Built-in tools are basic but work well. • Only saved to the current session. • Only works on pages where the block is loaded. • More advanced features rely on ATbar. • ATbar features are fiddly to apply. • ATbar changes are lost when you navigate to a different page. Requirements • Apply to every page in Moodle. • Settings stay with the user until they turn them off. • Offer more features than the Accessibility Block. • Preserve page layout and structure. • Ability to switch features on and off independently.
