Adapt Community Network Is Born

FORMERLY UNITED CEREBRAL PALSY OF NEW YORK CITY ADAPT COMMUNITY NET WORK IS BORN we change letter from the CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Dear Friends and Supporters, 017 was a year of positive change for our organization as we officially changed our name and brand from United Cerebral Palsy of New York City 2 to ADAPT Community Network after 70 years of serving New York families with disabilities. The brand launch took place at a festive gala at the New York Hilton in March of 2017 with over 700 supporters, families, individuals, staff, media and industry leaders celebrating this significant milestone. Our new brand signifies an era of greater inclusion and community impact. Throughout 2017, we built heightened awareness through events, launch of a new website, social media platforms, a partnership with PIX 11Changemakers as well as an impressive outdoor billboard campaign in Times Square and the MTA subway and bus system. Our new brand brought new growth in staff and program service locations through- out the city to support increasing numbers of people living with disabilities. The feedback we have received has been immensely exciting. We look forward to the next phase in our growth and are well positioned for new challenges to come. All of this would not be possible without the individual and corporate support provided by you. Our loyal donors, supporters and friends helped us every step of the way as we grew and adapted to the changing world around us. This report highlights a timeline of key areas of our tremendous impact throughout the year. Thank you for your continued support as we change, grow, learn, create, live, and advocate for people with disabilities in our community. Sincerely, E R.
