University2 0 0 7 Life The University of Copenhagen’s Programme of Excellence In November 2007, the University of Copenhagen awarded approximately DKK 350 million to 20 outstanding research projects. The Programme of Excellence is a new initiative that allows researchers to apply for funding for ongoing or new research. Each project can apply for a maximum of DKK 5 million a year for five consecutive years.
