Brevard County has seen a dramatic increase in students using these devices on campus and amazingly enough in the classroom. Many don’t realize that a large portion of the oils sold have as much nicotine in one cartridge as a pack of cigarettes, and many are laced with THC. Student s found in possession of any vaping paraphernalia will receive the following consequences: -confiscation until the end of the school year; must be picked up by parent/guardian -suspension with possible expulsion -police citation with fine and mandatory 4-hour course -if the device or paraphernalia contains THC, student will be expelled and be charged with a FELONY!
