Between the years of 1884-1887, Leicester’s first regular home ground was Victoria Park. It’s still there today! By 1887, Leicester Fosse had expanded to 40 members and two teams. Grace Road used to play matches. In 1891, Leicester City were without a home ground once more. They had to temporarily play on the county cricket ground, Aylestone Park. It’s now known as Grace Road and is home to Leicestershire County Cricket Club! Filbert Street developed. Finally, in October 1891, Leicester City settled in to what would be their home ground for over 100 years. They moved to the Walnut Street Ground, which later ART LCFC changed its name to Filbert Street. We stayed here until 2002. 1 Which location is the oldest?
