McEACHERN RETIRED NUMBERS Within the legends of any football program, few honors are held in higher esteem than for a player to have his number retired. McEachern has 6 players who’s incredible contributions to our school, our community, our state and our football program has demanded this high honor. We are continually proud of these elite individuals who have had this honor bestowed upon them for all time. The numbers 5, 6, 11, 17, 44 and 83 will NEVER EVER be worn again by a McEachern football player in tribute to these remarkable men. Rajaan Bennett Runningback 2006-09 2009 Co-Captain, 1857 Yards Senior Season, 28 Touchdowns, 1st Team All State 2009, Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year, Scholarship to Vanderbilt University, Cobb County Senior Bowl, North-South All Star Game Marcus Hinton Runningback 1989-91 1991 Co-Captain, First Team All County, First Team All State, Scholarship to Clemson University, 571 Receiving yards in college, 2 touchdowns, Varsity letterman at Clemson, Played for the Berlin Thun- der in 1999 and the New Jersey Hitmen (XFL) in 2001. 10 Games, 7 Receptions 1 Touchdown in 1999, 6 Games 5 receptions 1 touchdown in 2001 Kevin Espy Quarterback 1984-86 1986 Co-Captain, First Team All Cobb County, First Team All State, Scholarship to Appalachian State University, North-South All Star, Touchdown Club Back of the Year 1986, Varsity Letter Appala- chian State 1987 & ‘88 A.J.
