HOW TO: Enroll in Mobileiron with Android for Enterprise 7.0 or Greater Android for Work managed profiles, or Work Profiles, enable you to access company resources and business applications including: Email, Chat and Dropbox Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Chrome, Only data in the Work Profile will be managed by your organization. Your personal data is kept separate and private. IT administrators will be able to push and update applications in your Work Profile, configure certain device settings, and require a device password. Open the Google Play application from your mobile device 2. Find the 'Mobileiron Go' application by searching Mobileiron in the Google Play store 3. Download and install the "Mobileiron Go" application from the play store. 4. Once completed, open the Mobileiron Go application 4a.Once the application is open, click continue 4b. The next prompt will show what the Mobileiron application can see 4c. Please grant Mobileiron the rights for Calls and Location services 4d. You will now be prompted to enter a Username and password. At this screen please enter your PRIMARY EMAIL ADDRESS f ollowed by your network password. 4e. Once you authenticate into Mobileiron you will be prompted to create your work profile. Hit Continue . 4f. You will be prompted to setup your work profile 4g. You will be prompted to agree to the terms of allowing admin access on your device. 4h. This will complete your setup! Lastly : Open the MobileIron Go application and hit the small circular arrow in the top right. This will force a check-in with MobileIron servers and begin to download your work applications assigned to you. Here is how to setup the Gmail client. You will need to wait for the Gmail client to come down automatically to your device. If it does not come down after 5 min, you can manually check the badged google play store. Once a badged Gmail application is installed : 1. Open the Gmail application 1a. You will need to select a certificate so please hit the select button on the right hand side 1b.You will need to select the certificate and hit "ALLOW" Do not hit "INSTALL" 1c. Once the certificate is ALLOWED you can go ahead and type your password and hit next. ** This process can sometimes fail and it make take up to 1 hour to be able to configure email Please keep trying until it configures.** 1d. Once this is complete you should be prompted to do a security update on your device. Go ahead and "Activate this device administrator:" 1e. Once this is complete Gmail should report it's "Getting your messages" This process can take some time to complete as well as it has to download the mail from the server. 2. To get your Calendars and Contacts 2a. Open the Google Play store Enterprise 2b. Find the Google Calendar with the small briefcase icon along with the Contacts application with the same small briefcase. 2c.
