The city is also home to the Inland Empire 66ers, a Class A professional baseball team affiliated with Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. CLIMATE AND DRESS – San Bernardino’s climate is generally mild and pleasant most of the year. The summers are dry and warm to hot, while the winters are cool. A casual style of dress is recommended for most outings. A sweater or sweatshirt is suggested for late fall and early spring. Dress lightly in the summer. A jacket is usually required in winter. TEMPERATURES – Overnight lows in 30s to 60s in daytime in January and February. Overnight lows in the 50s and low 60s to daytime times in the high 90s in July and August. Average annual rainfall is 15 inches, usually between November and March. TICKETS FOR GAMES, MATCHES Tickets are sold at the event venue for basketball, volleyball and baseball only, starting one hour before time of the event. Admission is not charged for softball, soccer, tennis, golf or water polo at this time. There are no complimentary tickets for visiting teams and their coaches or staff. However, California Collegiate Athletic Association passes will be honored for institutional personnel. TRAINING ROOM/SPORTS MEDICINE The training room is located on the lower level of Coussoulis Arena in the Health and Physical Education building and is open two hours before the time of the game or match. A certified trainer will be in attendance at games/matches and an orthopedic surgeon will be “on call’’ if needed. The training room is equipped with electrical modalities, ultrasound, whirlpools, hydrocollators and ice machines. Water, ice and plastic bags, water bottles, cups and bench towels will be provided for games/matches. If a trainer will not be traveling with your team, please bring a training kit with supplies and information regarding any modalities needed by your athletes. VISITING TEAMS – Teams arriving in buses or vans must stop at the kiosk on Coyote Drive off Northpark Boulevard and obtain a visitor parking pass to be displayed in the front window or dash of the vehicle(s). Please park in Lot G. Buses may temporarily park in the designated bus loading and unloading zone at the curb near the new Student Recreation Center at the north end of Lot G. Additional car and SUV parking is available in Parking Garage No. 2 located on North Campus Drive behind Coussoulis Arena. Enter campus at Little Mountain Road and Northpark Boulevard just east of Coyote Drive. INDIVIDUAL PARKING – Individuals, fans and family of visiting teams are asked to park in Lot G or Lot H, depending on space available. The fee is $5.00 per day, payable at the kiosk or at vending machines located outside the kiosk and in the access road between lots G and H. Parking is enforced 24 hours, seven days a week. OFF CAMPUS BASEBALL PARKING – Visiting baseball teams and fans who attend games at Fiscalini Field (Highland and Harrison in San Bernardino) may park free of charge in the city-owned lot adjacent to the ballpark. DIRECTIONS TO CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO FROM CENTRAL & NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Take Interstate 5 south through the Grapevine to Interstate 210 East in the San Fernando Valley. Continue eastbound on I-210 to I-215 north in San Bernardino, head north on I-215 to University Parkway. Turn right on University to Northpark Boulevard, then right to Coyote Drive. Turn left into Lot G. FROM LOS ANGELES COUNTY & ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Take Interstate 10 east to Interstate 215, then north to University Parkway, right on University to Northpark Boulevard, then right on Northpark to Coyote Drive. Turn left and park in Lot G. OR, take I-10 to the I-15 North, following I-15 to the I-210 interchange, then right (east) on I- 210 to the I-215, exit north onto I-215 and exit at University, turn right and continue to Northpark Boulevard.
