What could be better than last years’ 17- mile stage? Well, an 18-mile stage of course. The final stage in Grizedale West will be a combination of the first two stages joined together. We’ll also be using the short stage in Broughton Moor forest, giving you 41 classic stage miles over 5 stages and just 44 road miles. We’ve retained the excellent facilities at Skelwith Fold for service and we have a new trailer park and scrutineering venue nearby in Ambleside. In recent years, we've limiting entries to 80. We are able to increase that a little this year by having the trailer park in a separate location in nearby Ambleside. Don’t forget, the first 75 entries will be accepted on a first- come-first-served basis so you don’t really have an excuse to miss out on these fantastic stages. It’s great to have our sponsor, Hippo Motor Group, based in Blackburn, back again. They pride themselves on an extensive range of products and services in the automotive world including Leasing, New and Used vehicle sales, Prestige cars and car servicing & repairs. Director Tom Preston is a regular rally competitor in his Fiesta WRC. Entries open on 7th October. Get your entry in and come for a cracking end-of-season celebration!! We look forward to seeing you in December. The Grizedale Stages Rally 2019 organising team A WORD FROM OUR SPONSOR Another year, another Grizedale Stages Rally to look forward to! The organisers and officials have been working really hard for the 32nd running of this event and we are once again thrilled to be partaking as a main sponsor, as well as a rally competitor. Away from 9-5, you’ll find us pedal to the floor in our Hippo Motor Group Ford Fiesta WRC making tracks. However, with over 60 years’ experience in the motor industry, we spend most our time sourcing and supplying vehicles across the UK. Our specialisms lie in vehicle leasing and finance along with vehicle sales. With over 1,000 vehicles in stock to browse from, we cater to all budgets and needs from the Volkswagen UP! to the Ferrari 488 and everything in-between. Our car pricing specialists ensure Hippo’s deals are updated daily, allowing us to remain the most competitive in the market and the UK’s number one car leasing and finance supplier. Our UK-wide delivery option and 48-hour ‘Click & Collect’ service operating from our state- of-the-art showroom in Blackburn, Lancashire makes vehicle leasing a simple and easy process – leaving our customers buckling up their new seatbelts in no time! Continuing expansion, an extension to our ever-growing showroom is underway as we speak, meaning more room for housing our growing range of stock and more choice for you. Take your pick from our diverse range: prestige and performance vehicles, business lease and fleet solutions, new vehicle sales and quality trade vehicles, all prepared at our shiny, new in-house prep centre. We’re eagerly anticipating the Grizedale “experience” and looking forward to seeing our supporters and competing crews as we take to the stages – best of luck to all! Best wishes, Tom Tom Preston - Director at Hippo Motor Group. Cover Photo; Chris Horner / www.McCrash.co.uk 2018 winners Josh Moffett / Keith Moriarty, Ford Fiesta R5 1.
