Statistics on teenage sexuality and pregnancy, abortion, and contraception are highlighted. The effects of early parenthood on the education, health, and life Satisfaction of the teenage mother and father are discussed, as well as the impact on their parents and society. The special risks of the children of teenage parents are described. The prevention of pregnancy and the responsibility of the family, school, church, government and society are emphasized. Thee need for sex education before the teenage years is noted, and the relationship of early sexuality to suicide, drug abuse, youth homicide and other problems is discussed.
