Since 2008, Lynn Marsden-Atlass has been the Executive Director of the Arthur Ross Gallery (ARG) and also University Curator of the University of Pennsylvania Art Collection. Previously, Marsden-Atlass served as the senior curator of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and, before coming to Philadelphia, she was the Curator of American and Contemporary Art at the Chrysler Museum of Art. Marsden-Atlass was an art history professor and director of the Consortium of Colleges Abroad for 10 years in Paris, France. From 2008-2016 she served on the Board of the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries, and, since 1998, she is an IMLS Museum Assessment surveyor and an AAM Accreditation Reviewer. Marsden-Atlass earned an M.A. in the History of Art from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in the History of Art from Lake Forest College.
