Current as of 1/11/2019 Our Ghost Hunting Rules: 1. Put cellphones on Airplane Mode so they don’t interfere with potential evidence. 2. BE RESPECTFUL. Be respectful to the museum, its contents, our staff, and the spirits. No provoking spirits or being disrespectful. After all, spirits are just people without bodies. 3. There is NO FAKING (i.e. making noises or using devices to fake potential paranormal evidence). You will be asked to leave immediately if we believe you or someone in your party is potentially trying to fake evidence. 4. If we are Ghost Hunting with Celebrities, please remember to be respectful and ASK for any handshakes, hugs, etc. If there is any inappropriate physical contact, you may be asked to leave. 5. No Séances, no Ouija boards, no performing magic or witchcraft, and no conjuring of spirits. 6. Never tell a spirit they can use your energy (or someone else’s). EVER! 7. When ghost hunting, do not whisper. Talk at a regular volume. IF you whisper it can falsely sound like an EVP. 8. When someone asks a question of spirits, give a few seconds before you ask another questions. 9. Everyone’s body make noises. MAKE SURE TO TAG body noises by saying “burp, fart, stomach, or that was me” 10. Make sure to tag every day regular noises like train whistles, car horns, kids outside, etc. 11. Please do not tell the sprits they can use our batteries. We are trying to collect potential evidence and need our batteries. If you want to offer YOUR OWN batteries for their use, that is your choice. Please don't offer ours. 12. No trying to force spirits to cross over or to leave. They are here because they want to be here. Just know we have already prayed for them multiple times. If there are more spirits that would like us to pray for them to help them cross over, they will let us know. 13. You may leave the group at any time to use the bathroom, get fresh air, or if you feel uncomfortable at any time. If you need to leave the group, tell your group leader so they know where you are at. 14. Before you leave for the night, please thank the spirits and firmly set your boundaries by telling them they CAN NOT come home with you. DO NOT tell them they have to stay at the museum because they can come and go as they please. Just tell them they CAN NOT go with you. .
