He leads the Financial Services (focus on Banking and Insurance) and the Public Sector Practices for BCG across Africa and South Africa. Selected in 2009 as a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum, in 2012 he was recruited to the Forum’s Global Agenda EUVIN NAAIDOO Councils, where he currently serves on the United States Council. Euvin’s experience Partner & Managing Director THE BOSTON CONSULTING GROUP in financial services encompasses Corporate & Investment Banking, Personal & South Africa Business Banking, Insurance as well as Risk. In 2004 he was recruited to join one of Africa’s leading pan-African banks, Standard Bank, within Corporate & Investment Banking, where focused on Acquisition Finance, initially based in Johannesburg and then, from 2005, in the New York office. He returned to South Africa from the USA in 2009 to head up the Risk Appetite & Credit Portfolio Management team for Standard Bank working across all personal and business banking (PBB) product lines covering a 17 country pan-African footprint, including South Africa. In 2013, Euvin joined the Barclays Africa Regional Management EXCO, where he served as the Head of Strategy for Barclays Africa, Regional Management, leading the bank’s strategy across its 11 country ‘Rest of Africa’ portfolio. Columbia University’s Journal of International Affairs has named Euvin one of the ‘Five Faces of African Innovation and Entrepreneurship’. In 2011, he was selected by Forbes as one of the African continent’s Top 10 most ‘Powerful and Influential Men’ of his generation. Euvin brings a wealth of financial services and industry insights to the BCG team coupled with strong on the ground experience across multiple geographies.
