Celebrity fashion website launches new men’s section Submitted by: 10 Yetis PR and Marketing Tuesday, 9 November 2010 Following months of development, the UK’s leading independent celebrity fashion website is today celebrating the launch of its eagerly awaited men’s section; allowing men to ‘steal the style’ of their favourite celebrities. The UK’s leading independent celebrity fashion website, www.MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk, has today unveiled the launch of its new men’s section; dedicated to helping men attain the latest trends. Following the success of MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk’s female-orientated website, launched in 2008; the founders decided to create a similar section on the site dedicated specifically to the celebrity-style fashion of men. The male section will feature a new and improved design that is more user-friendly, having taken on the advice given in feedback from users. The new men’s website, accessible through the MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk homepage, will feature style tips and articles, as well as showing the latest male celebrity trends and where to buy them. In much the same way as its sister site, the men’s section will primarily enable users to ‘steal the style’ of their favourite celebrities with a unique ‘tagging’ system; pointing users towards the place to buy similar, or often the exact garment or accessory a star is wearing. The website features clothes from over 400 fashion retailers, and is updated hourly with new celebrity ‘looks’ and merchant products. Working on a ‘click through’ basis, the site generates sales by directing visitors to the merchant buying pages of any items that take their fancy. Andy Barr, marketing director of MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk, commented on the launch of the men’s section: “Since launching MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk in 2008, we’ve seen a steady increase in site visits month after month, with more and more women coming to us to find the latest celebrity trends. Last year we began to receive requests for a similar site dedicated to men’s fashion (http://www.MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk), from men and girlfriends alike; so we set the wheels in motion to create a site dedicated to helping men find the latest trends.” He continued: “The new men’s site is essentially similar to the model of the women’s site; featuring style news, articles, trends and a search facility that allows visitors to trawl through merchants, clothing categories or celebrities. Buying clothes on the site is simple; as visitors can simply click on something they like, and will be taken straight through to the buying page of the item’s merchant. “MCF Men essentially aims to take all the hassle out of trying to find the style that men want to achieve. We all know that shopping can be somewhat of a chore for blokes, so with the new site, we aim to solve that hassle; as it really can be as easy as the click of a button.” Page 1 ENDS LINK: http://www.MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk For more information please contact Emma Kent of 10 Yetis Public Relations on 01452348211 or [email protected].
