7.0 Technical Specifications Cabinet Division has requested BTCL to install Router, switch, WiFi access point, Controller, Firewall etc with establish a LAN within Cabinet Division area. BTCL has to provide Internet Service 100 Mbps initially, which will be expanded upto 1 Gbps) at cabinet site. The Goods and Related Services shall comply with following Technical Specifications: The Bidder must comply all clauses and sub-clauses stated in the details specifications router. Failure of one module shall not impact operations of rest of the OS. M 26 Router should have in service bug patching feature available from day 1. Online insertion and removal of one line card shall not lead to ANY packet loss for traffic flowing through other line cards for both unicast and multicast traffic. M 36 In case of a line card failure on the router; the multicast routing, multicast distribution and multicast replication architecture of the router shall ensure no impact & zero packet loss of multicast video, audio & data traffic running on rest of the line cards in the system M 37 In case the primary route processor fails on the router, there should be ZERO packet loss on the whole router for both unicast and multicast traffic. M 38 The Gigabit Ethernet ports must support IEEE defined SX (850nm), LX/LH (1310nm), and ZX (1550nm) pluggable optics. M 64 Configuration Roll Back to recover the mis-configured router to last good configuration M 65 Shall support the following: M 66 Traffic Classification using various parameters like source physical interfaces, source/destination IP subnet, protocol types (IP/TCP/UDP), source/destination ports, IP Precedence, 802.1p, MPLS EXP, DSCP and by some well known QoS Features: application types through Application Recognition techniques. M 67 Shall support Strict Priority Queuing or Low Latency Queuing to support real time application like Voice and Video with minimum delay and jitter. M 68 Congestion Management: WRED, Priority queuing, Class based weighted fair queuing M 69 Traffic Conditioning: Committed Access Rate/Rate limiting. M 70 Platform must support hierarchical shaping, scheduling, and policing for the control upstream and downstream traffic. M 71 Shall support QoS based on differentiated service code point (DSCP), MPLS experimental bit (EXP) and 802.1p classification with marking, policing and scheduling, ingress and egress SLA enforcement is accomplished by enforcing the maximum service rates for residential and business subscribers.
